Carl Higgins

Carl Samuel Higgins, 60, of Route 1, Marlinton, died in the Pocahontas memorial Hospital Friday, February 11, 1966.
Born near Marlinton October 10, 1905, he was the son of Mrs. Ettie Jackson Higgins and the late Henry Higgins.
In September, 1934, he was married to Mattie Wheeler, who survives him in addition to a son, Charles Higgins, five
brothers, Ellet Higgins, Marlinton, Guy Higgins, of Baltimore, Maryland, Harry Higgins, of Amherst, Ohio, James
Higgins, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Dan Higgins, of Evansville, Indiana; four sisters, Mrs. Ethel Akers and Mrs. Grace Hill,
of Buckeye; Mrs. Arlene Fertig, of Nitro, and Mrs. Wanda Peterson, of Aurora, Illinois.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Edray Methodist Church by the Rev. Harry Drake and the Rev. Carl Boggs,
with burial in Wilfong Cemetery.
