This is the old train engines that were used during the mining days in Colorado
There is only a couple pictures of the
train. Most are pictures of scenery along
the train route.
It takes the train 3 1/2 hours to travel the 45
miles from Durango
to Silverton.
Durango is about 6500 feet above
sea level and the train climbs to
Silverton which is almost 9500 feet above sea level
