Stillwell was part of Old Man Clanton's rustling gang, and after the gunfight at the O.K. Corral, Morgan Earp was shot in the back. Frank Stillwell was the main suspect, and while the Earp's were in Tucson putting Virgil Earp, on the train to California, Stillwell was spotted and followed. Wyatt and Warren Earp, Doc Holliday, and a few friends cornered Stillwell and riddled him with bullets and killed him on March 20, 1882.
